Politicians and regulators are now piling on the pressure, with calls for the CEO of South East Water, David Hinton, to step down.

Kent MPs Helen Whately, Helen Grant, Rosie Duffield, and Mims Davies have all joined the chorus, calling for Hinton's resignation. Tunbridge Wells MP Mike Martin has gone a step further, urging the company's owners to sack the leadership or risk losing their investments.
